DuClaw Brewing Company

Since 1996, DuClaw Brewing Company has cultivated a dedicated and diverse clientele thanks to its unique atmosphere, perfect for family or casual dining, business lunches or just enjoying fine, craft brewed beers with names as bold as their tastes including Venom Pale Ale (1st place - Peoples Choice Awards, MD Craft Beer Festival 2001), Misfit Red (Baltimore Magazine’s “Best Beer in Baltimore” 1998) and the one that constantly creates controversy, Bare Ass Blonde Ale, just to name a few.

With three beers in the top ten of their respective styles and an overall world ranking of #87 at ratebeer.com, DBC has established itself as one of the premier craft brewers not just in Maryland, but world wide.

You can experience the DuClaw difference in Bel Air, Bowie Town Center, The Arundel Mills Mall, and the Bond Street Wharf in Fell’s Point.

The Flying Barrel

The Flying Barrel

103 South Carroll St.

Frederick, Maryland 21701

(301) 663-4491

The Flying Barrel is a homebrew shop and brew-on-premise.  We have served the Mid-Atlantic States since 1980.  We were the 1st brew-on-premise in the State of Maryland and draw people from 5 states to brew at our facility.

We do all grain, partial mashes, and our extract batches use a large variety of fresh and pellet hops in the brews.  In recent years we have started to mail order and have mail ordered all over the world.

The Flying Barrel works with the local homebrew club (FOAM) which sponsors many brewing events, both for the commercial breweries/brewpubs and homebrewers.
